Celebrate Your Family’s Story Just With Your

Smartphone

Smartphone Photography Course for Second Time Parents:

The second-time chapter flies by. You’re surviving the days, and the photos end up blurry, rushed, or missing the feeling.
This is a gentle invitation for you — mum or dad — to press pause.
In this relaxed session, I’ll teach you how to use your phone to notice and photograph the magic in your everyday: the sleepy cuddles, the cheeky grins, the chaos on the living room floor. We’ll focus on storytelling, not perfection, so your images feel honest, warm and full of life.
Give yourself an hour to step back, see your family with fresh eyes, and start creating the kind of photos your future self – and your children – will treasure.

  • Know exactly what to shoot (so your days become a story, not random snaps)

  • Capture real connection: cuddles, big feelings, sibling moments, belly kisses

  • Get better photos in messy homes with simple light + angle tweaks

  • Learn how to get yourself in the frame without making it a whole production

  • Stop fighting “cooperation” and start photographing as life happens

  • Finish with a mini set of images that actually feels like your family (the kind you’ll want to keep)

Collaboration with Whirl & Wonder

Hi, I’m Rosie — mum of two, photographer, and founder of Mums Photo Academy.

Becoming a mum again reshaped everything — the pace, the chaos, the love. I started using my smartphone to hold onto the moments that were slipping past me.

Now I help second-time mums slow down, breathe, and capture their family’s real story with simple, mindful photography.
No pressure, no perfection — just honest, emotional images that remind you of the beautiful life you’re living right now.

Hi, I'm Yvonne, mum of two, Antenatal & Postnatal Coach and founder of Whirl & Wonder.

When expecting my second child, I couldn't find classes tailored for second-time parents. I craved connection with other parents preparing for baby number two while juggling the beautiful chaos of life with a toddler.

The early months with two felt isolating. Everything shifted when I connected with other second-time parents. Motherhood suddenly felt lighter.

Whirl & Wonder now offers specialised classes for second-time parents in East London, because no parent should have to navigate this journey alone.

STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

I know life with two is a whirlwind. Here are answers to the most common questions from busy parents like you.

I’d love this… but I’m exhausted and my toddler won’t cooperate. Will it still work?

Yes — this course is designed for that season. We’re not doing stiff posing or perfect setups. I’ll show you how to capture your family story in the in-between moments you’re already living: snack time, school-run chaos, bedtime calm, the cuddle after the tears. One hour a week, small steps, real progress — and photos that feel true.

Do I need a fancy phone?

No. If you have a smartphone, you’re ready.

What if my toddler won’t cooperate?

Perfect. This course is about storytelling, not posing. Movement, moods, and mayhem are welcome.

Is this for pregnant mums too?

Absolutely. Bump + toddler moments are a huge part of your family story.

Can dads come too?

Yes — it’s for second-time parents.

Where and when is it?
